Microsoft is hosting a virtual launch for Release 2 of the Office Communications Server 2007 product. The uniqueness of this launch is that it is an online virtual event where Microsoft expects 40,000 unique users to visit the site between February and April 2009. The virtual launch contains a keynote, breakout sessions, and online areas for attendees to view product demonstrations, explore customer experiences, and learn about partner and Microsoft offerings. The launch website will be available to users for 120 days after the launch date.

Nortel will be a Platinum sponsor of this event. In addition to being an event sponsor, Nortel will also have a booth within the virtual expo featuring information on Nortel and Innovative Communications Alliance UC solutions, the Voice Pilot and Lighthouse programs, and UC Integrated Services.
