Nortel Unified Communications for Everyone
SUPERCOMM 2009 is billed as the industry's pre-eminent forum to showcase broadband-enabled network technologies and the business solutions and services powered by broadband. This year the event will take place October 21-23, 2009 in Chicago at McCormick Place and is expected to attract over 20,000 industry professionals. Show organizers have indicated that they are targeting industry leaders and c-level executives from large and small service providers, and enterprise and institutional communications buyers who have the ability to identify the solutions designed to enhance their networks and monetize their investment in Broadband.
Nortel's CVAS Supercomm booth (#2120) will feature innovative IP solutions and applications that help carriers deliver voice, video and multimedia services to business and residential subscribers. Attendees will see Nortel's fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) solutions, carrier hosted UC and call center capabilities, advanced IP softswitch, and video and entertainment solutions.

- CS 1500 IP softswitch that enables regional carriers to offer advanced web controlled telephony applications including click-to-call, unified messaging, terminating call manger and single number service.
