Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas chose Nortel to deliver a unified communication solution that has significantly improved patient care. The Nortel solution enables the radiology department to quickly and securely send medical orders directly to radiology technicians on Baylor's wireless network. Technicians can now receive medical orders anywhere on the hospital's 120 acre campus on a Unified Communication-enabled BlackBerry™ device. This has-- simplified business processes, cut the time-to-diagnosis, and ultimately raised the level of patient care.
