What do I need?Components of Nortel's SOA and Web Services portfolio Agile Communication Environment software extends unified communications to business applications and enables new ways of doing business, by exposing key communications capabilities like click-to-call, IM, location and presence. These services can be combined with other applications.
For example, through an alliance with IBM®, Nortel provides communications enabled communications capabilities fully integrated with IBM's Lotus Notes® and Lotus Sametime® clients -- providing a single, simple, communications-rich, GUI (graphical user interface). Nortel Agile Communication Environment is also fully integrated with IBM WebSphere® Application Server for enabling higher performance, speed and simplicity in deploying Nortel solutions. Nortel Agile Communication Environment is also available as a toolkit and can be integrated with other leading vendors' SOA frameworks.
